Bloodborne Pathogens

Did you know that all medical offices handling blood and potentially infectious materials must comply with OSHA standard 29CFR1910.1030? This means that your office must not only provide initial training about bloodborne pathogens when an employee is hired, but should also provide annual training for each employee. Your office must also have a written exposure control plan which includes a record of all training. Don’t wait until it is too late! Don’t risk being fined for noncompliance! Our certified, experienced instructors will provide training at your location or ours.

This course will provide information as required by OSHA. We will discuss general disease epidemiology, transmission and prevention, universal precautions and review your current exposure control plan. This course can be conveniently given during your office lunch hour, depending on detail need.
