This online course is designed to teach the basic skills of electrocardiography necessary to perform, process, and explain the electrocardiogram. An overview of anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, operation of the electrocardiograph and recording EKGs, cardiac pathology, and basic cardiac rhythm recognition will be presented. Upon completion, graduates will receive a diploma and will be qualified to take the National Healthcareer Certified EKG Technician Exam.  Registration for this online course is ongoing.
