This online course provides training in all the skills required to function as a Phlebotomy Technician in a medical office, clinic, laboratory, or hospital. You will quickly become familiar with blood collection procedures, the utilization of standard phlebotomy equipment, safety and medical ethics, and related medical terminology. Upon completion, graduates will receive a diploma and will be qualified to take the National Healthcareer Certified Phlebotomy Technician Exam. The student will also receive a four hour HIV/AIDS certificate as well as become knowledgeable in OSHA standards as applicable to the laboratory and healthcare setting.  Registration for this course is ongoing.
