Vocational Training in the Medical Field
Most students today prefer to graduate early in order to get a job and earn income immediately, especially with the struggling economy. You get to learn everything about your chosen field in the stable medical world. (Education Resource Center)
Students who have a vocational diploma are more advantageous than some degree holders because most companies today require skills and training aside from just the academic records. (International Review of Education Journal, 2004)
Graduates who have vocational training are in-demand in the job market. Though some education traditionalists may disagree, most companies nowadays require vocational certificates before they consider an applicant. The enrollment percentage of vocational education has increased dramatically since 2002. (National Bureau of Economic Research, July 2008)
